During this one-hour lunch time eco-club your students will:
- Find out who Kepak are and their four key environmental impact areas: food waste, packaging waste, energy reduction and travel reduction
- Be challenged to help think of innovative new ways for Kepak to achieve their WRAP and Fairshare 50% waste reductions by 2030!
- Speak with Kepak’s Group Environment Manager, Health Safety and Environment Manager, Early Career Manager, and department worker.
- Discuss and evaluate if business environmental targets are achievable
This eco-session support SDGs: 4, 7, 8, 9, 11, 13, 17 and Global Citizenship Eco-School topic actions.
‘Help Kepak cut their carbon’ is the fifth of six lunch time Eco-Club sessions with Kepak. Sign up to other challenges linked to low carbon food manufacturing, sustainable farming, single use plastics, pollinators and food waste.
