Kooth is a FREE, safe and anonymous online Mental Wellbeing Community for young people. It is available through smart phone, tablet or computer and features activities, self help articles, discussion boards and a team of accredited counsellors and emotional wellbeing practitioners who provide guided and outcome-focused support for each individual.
Kooth is a organisation who offers an annoymous digital tool. We are delighted to offer a virtual one hour session to schools and colleges in the Northwest and wider UK who would like to take part as we are a national organisation and work across the UK.
In this session you will learn :-
Kooth can support with mental health for young people
Kooth as a tool to support young people and where teachers can access information
During this one hour session you will learn about :-
how each feature of the website works
-how young people benefit from the service
-how our online service and peer forums work
-how we safeguard at risk young people
We will share real life examples from the young people we work with.
Many young people are struggling with their mental health. This has been exacerbated with the Coronavirus pandemic. if you would like to find out how young people can access mental health support without wait times them please come and find out how Kooth not only offers counselling support 365 days a year, but also peer support and self help tools.
