On Wednesday, we had the pleasure of attending the launch event for the Creative Careers Programme.
Hosted at Burberry‘s offices in Leeds, the event was packed full of representatives from across the creative industries as well as local students eager to learn more about careers in the sector.
The Creative Careers Programme is an industry-wide initiative which aims to ignite the link between young people and the creative sectors so that they can better understand the industry and the range of careers within it.
The programme will be delivered by the Creative Industries Federation, Screen Skills and Creative and Cultural Skills, in partnership with Speakers for Schools and the Careers and Enterprise Company.
Opening the event, a new video was aired packed full of industry (leaders including our very own chief executive, Ashley Hodges!) sharing why it’s so important to promote the varied and interesting careers on offer across the creative industries to attract young people to the sector.
