Adrian Hayter

I have a science degree in Pharmacology and went on to study Medicine at the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel before eventually deciding to specialise in General Practice. I have been a GP working at the Runnymede Medical Practice in Windsor for 25 years . I believe in the role of Primary Care leadership and the opportunity to improve the outcomes for populations based on the allocation of resources. I have been a Health System leader alongside my day job of being a GP and supported Commissioning of health services focusing on improving the health inequalities of older people. I was appointed the National Clinical Director for Older People at NHS England in 2019.
