Andy Middleton

System-scale change maker for sustainable futures

Andy is Founder Director of the TYF Group, an innovative and visionary social enterprise based in St.Davids, Pembrokeshire. TYF’s mission is to train revolutionaries – giving normal mums, dads & kids, business teams and community groups the confidence, skills and reason to revolutionise the way they play, think and connect with nature. TYF’s goal is to reach 100,000 people face to face in the next five years through with experience in education, adventure, retail and consulting. As a Founding Partner of the Do Lectures, and coordinator of the Do Collective, Andy connects and orchestrates the potential power of a virtual consulting team of hundreds of the world’s best thinkers and doers. Through his roles as Board Member of Natural Resources Wales, Associate Director of INSPIRE at University of Wales Trinity Saint David and as a member of the Innovation Advisory Council for Wales, Andy is deeply aware of the government and political priorities that create opportunities for Wales.

Andy designs and enables radical and transformation by working collaboratively to develop the inspiration, innovation, connections and plans that catalyse action. He is a strategic advisor, facilitator and speaker to business and government, working with organisations to connect what they do to the speed and scale of change that’s needed, drawing on 25 years’ experience in risk, action learning, biomimicry and sustainability.

In addition to his experiences of running one of the UK’s best known adventure tourism businesses, Andy has delivered keynote talks on many occasions for Visit Wales and Welsh Government, in Wales, China, Hong Kong and India.

Andy works internationally and from his home city of St Davids, balancing desk and delivery time with surfing, sea kayaking and gardening.
