OVERVIEW – Wide international banking experience including retail banking, commercial and corporate banking as well as capital markets. Career has focused on the global project finance market including power, renewables, oil & gas, infrastructure and entertainment & leisure – for execution in the bank, retail or capital markets. Previously, ran a UK regulated subsidiary of a US Financial Service entity, managing board independently – including corporate governance, risk management and FCA reporting requirements.

CAREER – I am Head of Fitch Credit Rating Agency for all Infrastructure transactions in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Pacific region providing credit ratings for the benefit of Investors in the market. At Investec I was responsible for all bond issues for a wide range of businesses. Prior to Investec I was Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, European Infrastructure Finance of Ambac Assurance UK Limited a subsidiary of Ambac Financial Group Inc. Ambac provided financial guarantees for bond issues and who suffered a downgrading from “AAA” to below investment grade during the Global Financial Crisis. Prior to 2001, I worked for NatWest Bank / Royal Bank of Scotland including spending 5 years in New York.
