I am a MICE industry professional with 19 years’ experience in this sector and, more recently, in the specific area of Organisational Development.

I am an energetic and motivated mum of two and am passionate about working with a clear understanding of purpose, both personally and professionally. I am an able leader, forever learning and always keen to collaborate to achieve the most innovative results. I value teamwork, kindness, bravery, ingenuity and curiosity, and encourage those around me to be creatively confident.

I have worked on all areas of the event management life-cycle, from venue sourcing and negotiations, strategic event design, delegate and project management to budget reconciliation, content creation and post-event evaluation. I’ve experienced agency life – global and family-run – and freelance ventures.

Redundancy and maternity leave have featured several times in my life, requiring me to think differently about how to handle the next move in my career. Due to this, I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone on numerous occasions to take a punt on new opportunities.

We can’t predict our journeys nor the challenges we’re faced with, but the ability to flex and adapt helps us to navigate these obstacles and carve out new professional paths.
