Mandisa Greene

Senior Vice President & Former President, Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons

Mandisa is the Senior Vice President & Former President of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon. Mandisa qualified from the University of Edinburgh Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in 2008. She started her career working in small animal practice in Scotland but moved to the West Midlands where she has worked both in general and emergency small animal practice. Mandisa is passionate about increasing diversity in Veterinary Medicine.

Mandisa is a published author, having been the researcher on a paper about genomic variations in Mycobacterium published in BMC Microbiology.

Mandisa has worked for Harper Adams University as a lecturer in Veterinary Sciences educating both students and qualified veterinary nurses. Along with being passionate about her own development, she is also a strong advocate for encouraging her veterinary nurses to be as knowledgeable as they can around critical care and to work to their full potential.
