Melanie Scheuer

Melanie has over 20 year’s Human Resources experience in multinationals and start-ups in different industries. She has lived and worked in Switzerland, Japan, the Philippines, Cyprus and since 2012 in the UK.

Since early 2022, she has been leading the people function for a disruptive sport start-up in Golf, responsible for the overall HR Strategy, organisational design, recruitment, employee relations, compensation & benefits, talent management.
Previously she worked for an innovative venture-backed fintech scale-up, a youth travel business (STA Travel), a challenger beverage company (now part of Heineken), one of the world’s largest beauty companies working on the merge between the beauty division of Procter & Gamble and Coty, and at the beginning of her career supported a leading FMCG manufacturer in setting up offices in new markets in Middle East and Africa.
Through her career, Melanie has hired and built high performing teams in 40 countries in Europe, Americas, Middle East, Africa and APAC.

Melanie has a Master’s in Business Management from the Geneva University as well as a LLM in Employment Law UK/Europe from the De Montfort University (Leicester).
