Nick Mawditt

Marketing and Insight Director


Nick has worked in media, advertising and research for 27 years spanning TV companies, media agencies and research companies. Graduating with a Law degree, Nick was attracted to the world of market research and communications and applied this within organisations including Reuters, ITV and research firm Taylor Nelson Sofres. He became Research Director at Initiative, then one of the UK’s leading media agencies, where he managed insight for brands including Unilever, Johnson & Johnson and Cisco. He has also worked in the international media environment with Initiative and TV news organisation CNBC, where he was Head of Research. Since 2007, Nick has been working in the dynamic sector that is Outdoor media for Kinetic and now Talon, an agency that is only two years old, where he has set up and driven the company’s focus on insight, effectiveness and comms, including all of Talon’s social media and PR output. Nick set up and implemented the first Out of Home NFC test in 2012 and now conducts extensive insight into the role of technology and urban behaviour on the future of Out of Home media.

Nick went to school in Bath and now lives in central London. He has two children – one sciences-focused, one creative.
