Peter Bale

Peter Bale is a media consultant advising some of the leading online companies in the world on their strategies to create or rebuild online publishing assets. He is a former Reuters news agency correspondent and editor who moved into online publishing early. He was one of the founding editors of FTMarketWatch.com, the online director of The Times & The Sunday Times and has worked at Microsoft and led CNN digital outside the US. He was also the CEO of the Center for Public Integrity, a Washington, DC investigative news group which included the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists. He serves on the board of The Signals Network which supports whistleblowers and was president of the Global Editors Network.
