Fabio Ciravegna is Professor of Language and Knowledge Technologies and Head of OAK Group in the Department of Computer Science of The University of Sheffield. His research field concerns the development and use of Web Technologies for Knowledge and Information Management. He is the founder of two spin out companies in the area of knowledge management in large organisations (K-Now Ltd) and telematics (The Floow Ltd).
Fabio’s talk will guide the students through the past and present of the Web and will give insights in its possible future developments.
