Michael Reiss is Professor of Science Education at the Institute of Education, University of London, Honorary Visiting Professor at the University of Leeds, York and the Royal Veterinary College, Honorary Fellow of the British Science Association and of the College of Teachers, Docent at the University of Helsinki, Director of the Salters-Nuffield Advanced Biology Project and an Academician of the Academy of Social Sciences.
He is a trustee of a number of charities including the Charles Darwin Trust, Compassion in World Farming, the Journal of Moral Education, the Red Balloon Learner Centre Group, the South Sinai Foundation and the Welfare Fund for Companion Animals.
