Robert Colvile

Robert Colvile is Director of the Centre for Policy Studies, the leading centre-right think tank, and Editor-in-Chief of its CapX news site. He was co-author of the recent Conservative Party manifesto and is also the author of ‘The Great Acceleration’ (Bloomsbury), on how technology is speeding up the pace of life. He was previously News Director at BuzzFeed UK and Head of Comment at the Daily and Sunday Telegraph, where he worked in a variety of roles for more than a decade. As a freelance journalist he has written for a wide range of newspapers, magazines and websites on politics, policy, technology and culture.
