Rosie Millard OBE

I am Chair of BBC Children in Need, Chair of Firstsite arts centre and Dep.Chair of Opera North. I was the BBC’s Arts Correspondent for a decade and chaired Hull 2017 City of Culture for which I got an OBE. I am a freelance journalist and broadcaster and have written a couple of novels and a couple of non fiction books. I run a marathon every year and have done the 6 Marathon Majors plus the Great Wall of China Marathon. I have four children and a Border Terrier. Last year I had a large benign tumour removed from my brain!
