Thomas Lye

From happy and humble beginnings in Essex, I’ve been lucky to have access to state funded education through to my Physics degree at Imperial College. This has given me opportunities to create a rewarding career in FMCG and Retail, the last 11 years of which have been with Tesco where I’ve been fortunate enough to be promoted a few times and now run a £4bn category.

Aside from the financial rewards – I’ve travelled, learnt a lot about myself, grown in to a leader, made great friends and met my partner through my work. I now have a wonderful balance between a stimulating, exciting job and a very happy family life and, most importantly, I’m still learning!
