Minster School Southwell and LSE…I served in the army in Germany and the Falklands and then worked in the City mostly for JP Morgan. I was appointed to the Court of Directors of the Bank of England and served two terms. I was a Governor and am now an Emeritus Governor of the LSE; chair of listed information company IHSMarkit PLC, and chair of Cairn Capital an asset management company which I helped set up.
