Ever wondered what a Zoo Keepers day would look like? Is your dream job to work with Animals? Join us behind the scenes to experience close contact with exotic animals.

Looking after animals is not for the faint-hearted – it means working alongside our zoo-keeping staff and getting your hands dirty!

A day in the life of a Zoo Keeper will start work at 10:00 am when you are met by a member of our zoo team and finish at 3.00 pm.

Here are some of the things we can show you:

  • Mucking out
  • Preparing fresh bedding
  • Feeding the animals
  • Preparing enrichment items
  • Preparing feeds
  • Animal health checks
  • A sneaky peek behind the scenes with our zoo staff!
