With 15,000 businesses employing in excess of 70,000 creatives and the large number freelancers and students studying creative arts courses, then you will see a thriving future sector with 2m people currently employed in the UK`s creative organisations and the rate of digital innovation, there are growing career opportunities.

Artistic vision and problem solving design skills are vital to our lifestyles, well being, cultural interaction, heritage and identity. Imagine how grey and unsupported our lives would be without those creative professionals who drive change, innovation in architecture, fashion, media, film and theatre, writing, music?

Creative Portal is an online portfolio hub that provides an opportunity for emerging talent work to be seen, enjoyed and appreciated in the public domain and shared with peers, employers and higher education institutions.

On the day, you will interact with professionals from across the diversity of the creative industries and be able in your own time to create your own individual, group or class online portfolio and grow your personal creative identity to get your talent in front of the people and places that matter.

Creative Portal is a free online hub showcasing the work of aspiring creatives who are not only serious about pursuing a career in the arts, but have taken the time to become part of an online portal to build and promote their portfolio. The platform is open to all fields of expression, representing the diversity of the visual and performing arts. The portfolios are designed to help users grow their talent by having inspirational conversations with both peers and present a portfolio that is more a creative selfie to include CV and more. Creative Portal is unique in also promoting connectivity by generating links for its portfolio users with the invited professional users from the creative industries, universities, colleges and arts organisations. The aim to enable opportunities for professional critique, placements, internships, career guidance, project collaboration and more. We offer the creative sector and education a dedicated channel to search for recruitment to employment, courses by taking away the endless hours of trying to come across artists, designers and performers by chance online.
