NOTE: This in-person Insight Day is only open to young people from Northern Ireland and you must be able to commute to their premises in Lisburn.

This is an exciting opportunity to explore life in an international technology company, where innovation is in our DNA.  Our Engineering Careers Insight Day will help you explore entry routes and the various engineering career pathways in Camlin Group, plus information on the skills and qualifications needed to excel in this profession. 

This day will offer you an insight into our Engineering teams here at Camlin and over the course of the day, you’ll hear from the talented teams working on cutting edge technology on their career journeys, offering their top tips to how to succeed in engineering. Here’s what we have planned for the day…

ITINERARY

·      Meet the Team – An introduction to Systems Engineering and Mechanical Engineering

Break

·      Tour of our factory – seeing engineering at work

·      Skills workshop: How to shine in an interview

Lunch

·      Engineering Challenge – have you got what it takes to excel in Engineering?

·      Review team findings from the Engineering challenge

·      Final re-cap and Q&A

·      Close the session

 

Before applying please…

·      Be sure to read all details and tell us a bit about yourself. Successful applicants will be selected based on the content of your application form and evidence of your curiosity and motivation to pursue a career in our industry.

·      Students will need to be able to commute to our offices and attend from 10.00am-3.00pm for the full day

Great for students who are curious, open to new ideas, innovative, tenacious, creative, determined.

Places are limited to 10 young people for this in-person Insight Day at Camlin Group Lisburn, so apply early to avoid disappointment!

*Dress code is smart casual. No tracksuits or sportswear.

*Lunch will be provided by the employer.

*Camlin Group do not want transport to this Insight Day to be a barrier to young people. If transport costs may be an issue to you being able to attend this opportunity, please ask your teacher to email: ni@speakersforschools.org as soon as possible.
