If you’re 14-18 years-old, come along to our virtual insight session, WE Initiate, to find out what the world of work is really like. You never know, it may even lead you to a career with us here at Santander.
Over an action packed morning run via Zoom, you’ll get to meet some of our most passionate employees, gain an insight into banking, get tips on how to apply for our one-week placements, apprenticeship and graduate programmes, there’s interview preparation and CV workshops too.
Doing work experience is a smart move because it allows you to:

- Experience what work is like
- Find out if banking is for you
- Develop skills employers look for (like teamwork and communication)
- Meet new people

Our placements are open to all and we welcome applications from everyone, but particularly encourapplications from students who are eligible for pupil premium funding, from BAME backgrounds or have additional educational needs.
