Richard Holden MP and his team are hosting a virtual event for young people in schools and colleges across North West Durham. Come and join in to gain an understanding of how politics works, how people get into politics and the many different pathways it leads to.
Feel free to ask Richard and his team anything that sparks your interest as we discuss the world of politics, governance and how the UK, and local constituencies, are run.
Richard was elected to North West Durham in 2019. He started his career at CCHQ and worked his way up to become a Member of Parliament and was recently promoted to a PPS (Parliamentary Private Secretary) which gives him even more responsibility as an MP.
