Skills to pay the bills…The World of a National Housing Association

Ever wondered what a housing association does? Do you want to gain an insight into different careers and job opportunities? Interested in building your employability skills? If yes, then join The Guinness Partnership’s virtual Insight Day on Tuesday 7 March during National Career Week and gain lots of valuable tips and advice.

This event will provide an insight into what it’s like to work for a leading national housing association. Our bite sized sessions will focus on different areas including employability skills, career insights and potential job opportunities. Sessions will be engaging, interactive and fun!

Speakers will share their career journeys, discuss subjects that have benefited their careers, and give advice and tips on entering the world of work. Each session will include time for questions and answers.

The sessions will run online between 9.30am and 12.30pm on Tuesday 7 March. You are welcome to join as many sessions as you wish, and they are all free to attend.

Hear from graduates and apprentices about their experiences working at The Guinness Partnership.

10.30am – Jobs at The Guinness Partnership

Learn about different jobs at The Guinness Partnership and tips on how to move into the world of work.

11.30am – Employability Skills

Gain advice and guidance on writing your CV, how to interview well, and how to market your skills and experience on your application forms and cover letters.  

12.30pm – Close
