Summer Work Experience with Reed Smith and SMBP (Social Mobility Business Partnership)

SMBP is a collaboration of 150+ commercial organisations, professional services firms and professional sports teams working across 18 towns/cities. All are committed to supporting Years 12 and 13 students from low-income backgrounds in their pursuit of a career in business. 

Week 1 – Reed Smith Legal (24th July – 28th July 2022, 4 days ) will take place at Reed Smith’s London office. 

Week 2 – SMBP (1st August – 5th August 2022, 5 days) will take place at a various business partners offices across London.

You must be available for BOTH weeks of the work experience and MUST be aged between 16-18 years of age.

This programme is suitable for students keen to pursue a career in law OR a business industry, applicants should be hardworking, open-minded and enthusiastic.

Taking part in this programme will enable you to build skills such as: presenting, interviewing, influencing, resilience and negotiation. You will also be armed with experience that you can use on your CV, LinkedIn profile and personal statements and as a talking point for university and job interviews.
