We are offering multiple exciting placements across the organisation, take a look at the descriptions below of the teams and let us know which you like the sound of the most when you apply:

  • Quality Assurance – a team key to ensuring the Versius system meets Product Quality requirements so it’s safe and reliable in healthcare settings globally
  • People – known more widely as HR, the People Team are involved in bringing on board talented individuals and making sure employees are supported in the workplace
  • Property Development – as CMR grows, we need more space globally to operate! This team are involved in finding the right spaces and creating the right environments for the organisation
  • Medical Affairs – are responsible for assessing the safety and performance of Versius before being used in surgery. They act as the bridge between the design engineers and the clinicians to help understand clinical needs and translate them to engineering terminology
  • Information Technology – our Engineers help our colleagues with support and advice across a very wide range of different systems, from laptops and networking to cloud computing infrastructure
  •  Corporate Communications – builds and enhances the reputation of CMR by delivering company messages and key announcements to a global audience. This can be through press engagement social media, as well as government affairs
  •  Robot Software Team – design, write and test the software for the network of microcontrollers responsible for nearly every aspect of the robot’s behaviour. For this placement, although we don’t expect you to be an advanced coder, you should have a good understanding of coding and be able to demonstrate experience of Python/C
  • Executive Administrative Team – provide first class support to our chief leadership team with scheduling meetings, maintaining diaries and co-ordinating VIP visits and events off-sites. They also collate and produce reports for the executive team. These are just a few of the tasks the team will assist with.

We are simply looking for individuals to join us who are enthusiastic, keen to learn and get involved throughout the week! As well as spending time in your team, there will also be activities where you will have the opportunity to meet and work with other students.
