Join us for this 5-day virtual work experience opportunity which will take you behind the scenes to show you how we develop brand new chocolate products in the heart of Bournville, Birmingham.

You'll get to experience the full product development process and design your very own chocolate product, whilst working in groups with other students across the country.

During the 5 days you will hear from, and work with, a range of experts with different skills and careers within our business.

Throughout the week we will look at all the areas considered when developing a new product, from idea to shop floor and have sessions on the following:

  • Learn from Product Developers how we come up with new product ideas. If you could create a product what would it be?

  • Gather data with the Consumer Scientists to learn if consumers like your product.

  • Think about how your product will be made and the role of Process Engineers  & Packaging Designers in this.

  •  Understand how we ensure the Quality and safety of our products is maintained.

  • Learn about Sales & Marketing- how you will advertise your product?

  • Join us "Live from the Lab" as we uncover the technical analysis involved in product development.

  • ... and a special session from our career's team on employability skills!

Come and join us on this journey through the development pipeline...

...and if you can show us that you've enjoyed your week and learned something new, there's a certificate for your CV too. (There is even a prize for the group who gives the best presentation when you present your final product idea on the Friday!)

So why not come and join us...
