How you can transfer your non-performance skills to theatre making?

The Royal Ballet & Opera make world class performances in one of Europe’s busiest theatres - The Royal Opera House. We are a producing company and work in a repertory system showing over 350 performances a year on our main stage. We make every element of our productions and are continuously making new productions as well as reviving the old ones which we keep in storage. This way of working requires a huge logistical operation and out planning team plans 5 years in advance of a production’s opening night.

In this session you will discover the skills that are needed for three key roles in our company. Planning & Operations Manager, Production Manager and Stage Manager. Over three days you will meet people who do these jobs, learn what their jobs entail and undertake a series of challenges to test your skills.

Session timings Mon-Weds, 2 hours each morning 9-11am- challenge set- 1 hour each afternoon 2-3pm
