With 12 sound stages and cutting-edge facilities, it’s a hub for world-class productions and a training ground for the next generation of talent.

- Virtual Days: Explore film and TV production with online workshops led by industry experts. Learn about how a studio works, what the production timeline includes and explore the different roles on-site.
- In-Person Day: Visit Sky Studios Elstree, experience hands-on activities, and see how the magic happens in our cutting-edge Sky Up Academy studios experience.

Experience You Will Gain:
- 🎬 What You’ll Be Doing Day 1: Welcome to Sky Studios Elstree • Intro to the studio and its innovative facilities. • Learn about the production timeline—how ideas transform into finished TV and film projects. • Explore the different roles on-site and what each team contributes. • Understand the day-to-day operations of the studio. • Engage in problem-solving tasks to tackle production challenges. • Dive into a script breakdown to see how stories are analysed and brought to life.
- 🎬 Day 2: Behind the Scenes of Production • Discover what happens when a production team arrives on-site. • Explore the importance of sustainability in production and how Sky Studios leads the way. • Get insights from trainees—what a day in their life looks like. • Learn on-set language and practice communication with a fun walkie-talkie task. • Start planning your own film idea as part of the Sky Up Academy experience.
- 🎬 Day 3: Bring Your Vision to Life • Collaborate in a Sky Up Academy session, where you’ll develop and present your film idea. • Enjoy a careers session to discuss pathways into the industry and your next steps. • Reflect on what you’ve learned, and leave inspired to pursue your dream career in film and television.
