Exploring a career as a Vet, Veterinary Nurse, Researcher or Technician in vet research?


Join this exclusive experience hosted by fully qualified and experienced Vets and Practitioners from the University of Liverpool’s School of Veterinary Science.

They will take you through a journey of understanding about careers in this area. From what it takes to qualify, the skills you need, what and how you learn and highlight the varied roles that you could achieve and build your career upon.


o  When: Monday 17th to Wednesday 18th February. 9.30am - 2.30am each day.

o  Where: Virtual, via google classrooms.            


Whether you are interested in exploring a career as a Veterinary Nurse, a Researcher, or have a passion to specialise in roles with exotic animals, farm animals or small animals this experience will give you exclusive access to top professionals in this field.


What is on the agenda?

Ā·      Work place insights: Hear from a range of professionals about their own career journey, what does their day to day work look like and what hints and tips they have for you in your quest to become a veterinary nurse, vet or researcher.


Ā·      Behind the scenes: There will be a live virtual tour of a working veterinary clinic/surgery room/site for to see the state of the art facilities and what your future workplace could look like. Imagine, that could be you one day!


Ā·      Join in the experience: Across the three days you can engage with the team, ask questions, join activities, tasks and you will work on a virtual group project to build on your own knowledge and experience too.
