Diane is an economist specialising in digital markets and measurement. She is the author of many books, the latest being ‘GDP: A Brief but Affectionate History’ and ‘Markets, State and People’. She is a member of the Natural Capital Committee and was previously a member of the Competition Commission and vice chair of the BBC Trust, among a number of public service roles.
