Kate Bradley

Executive Director, Virgin Money Foundation & Former Operations and Strategy Director, UK Athletics

An experienced CEO, senior leader and non-executive director and specialist in strategy, governance, project management and social responsibility. Kate Bradley joined Virgin Money Foundation in February 2022 as Executive Director, leading the charity and team responsible for the day-to-day management of grant programmes.

Prior to this Kate was Operations and Strategy Director at UK Athletics and before that she was a member of the Senior Management Team at Newcastle United Football Club, providing strategic direction and leadership across the club’s commercial and marketing departments. Before this Kate was the Head of Newcastle United Foundation for 11 years.

Gateshead-born Kate worked for the Prince’s Trust in London after graduating from Leeds University with a BA (Hons) in History. She returned to the North East to work for the Community Foundation serving Tyne & Wear and Northumberland for five years while studying for an MSc in Urban Policy and Regeneration at Northumbria University. Kate is a Trustee of the Greggs Foundation and chair of their Grants Committee. She is also a volunteer with Speakers for Schools.
