Bryan Scott

Former Marketing Director, Znaptag

Bryan moved to London from a small town in Scotland in the late 90s. While his first role was working for an advertising agency on the flagship McDonald’s account, it was during this time that Bryan realised that it was a passion for great brands, businesses and growth opportunities that truly excited him. Working for big, well known businesses has always been a point of passion and pride for Bryan and this led him to working with some of the UK’s most loved, and well known, media brands.

Bryan spent 5 years working at Capital Radio Group. He started off working on the flagship station 95.8 Capital FM, before heading up a team that oversaw all B2B marketing for the group’s rapidly expanding portfolio of stations. Following this, Bryan moved to dmg media, the consumer media division of DMGT, where he set up and ran the internal creative and communication agency for the group. During this time Bryan worked with businesses that included the Daily Mail, Jobsite, Wowcher and Primelocation.com.

In 2011, Bryan took up the role of Marketing Communications Director at Metro, the UK’s leading urban media brand. During this time, Bryan oversaw the brand’s marketing through the key period for the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games, as well as helping drive the business’s digital and mobile audience. In the two years that Bryan was at Metro, he also oversaw the brand launch of new gaming business, Metro Play.

Bryan has recently taken up a new role with Znaptag, an in-image advertising start-up that is launching globally throughout summer 2014. He balances this with a volunteering role at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home where he works with the corporate fundraising team.
