Tom Wilkinson

Thomas Wilkinson was CEO of AXA Global Healthcare, a leading healthcare company devoted to providing international private health insurance to customers all over the world. In addition to his role as CEO, Tom has been a Director on the boards of several other companies, including AXA Mansard Insurance in Nigeria and ICAS Southern Africa, the regional leading provider of behavioral risk management services.

Since leaving university in 1996, Tom has worked for a variety of global firms, including IBM, Credit Suisse and AXA. His roles have meant that in addition to the UK, he has lived in Japan, Denmark, Switzerland, France, the US and Italy. He married with two children, and had his first child while living in Switzerland.

Prior to joining AXA Global Healthcare as CEO, Tom spent a year volunteering for a children’s cancer charity based in the French Alps, pursuing a French degree and training for the ‘UTMB’, an infamous mountain ultra-running event. Prior to this, he held executive positions at the UK’s leading provider of pension and investment solutions, AXA Wealth, where his roles included Director of Strategy, Director of Product Development and Director of Marketing.

In addition to his first degree in Sociology, Tom holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) which he acquired at Copenhagen Business School in Denmark.
