You’ve probably seen a Boots on your local high street – the first store was opened in 1849! But how much do you know about what goes on behind the scenes?
Come and join this unique opportunity to learn more about how this renowned retailer supports the community it works within and what it’s doing to help make our planet a better place for us all.
There are TWO insightful live sessions taking place, July 1st 2024 and you will gain pre and post activities for both sessions to make this a full day of learning for your students.
Session One, 10.00 -11.00am
A chance to discover how Boots supports charities and its local communities. Plus find out about how Boots encourages, promotes and provides opportunities for its employees to bring their whole self to work, and be part of working groups and communities that represent their diverse workforce.
Ideal for students to learn more about Diversity and Inclusion and how wider partnerships are developed alongside the benefits they bring.
Session Two, 1.30 – 2.30pm
Find out more about the Boots sustainability strategy. Just what are they doing to help support a sustainable future?
Perfect for any budding environmentalists or those wanting to explore green skills and the associated roles.
