During this one-hour lunch time eco-club your students will:

  • Find out who Kepak and find out about a green career within the food and meat production sector
  • Be challenged to find as many single use plastic packages as possible in school, college or home and think of ways that these items can be reused or repurposed.
  • Find out what Kepak are doing reduce single use plastics
  • Talk to and question Kepak’s Group Environment Manager, Health Safety and Environment Manager, Early Career Manager, and department worker.
  • Discuss why Rustlers Base Web is 100% recyclable, up to 80% recycled content, but still classified as single use.

This eco-session supports SDGs: 4, 9, 12, 14, the Circular Economy and Waste and Marine Eco-Schools topic actions.

‘Reuse single use plastics’ is the third of six lunch time Eco-Club sessions with Kepak.
