The SYREC Schools Team for NHS and Social Care Careers are pleased to be offering during National Science Week a 1 hour insight on Wednesday 15th March 9am to 10am into the careers you can have by studying science at school or college.

We will showcase a maximum of 5 different NHS Scientist roles each of which is rooted in a different branch of science biology, chemistry and physics, so there should be something to suit every preference.

We will hear from experts in clinical roles, to illustrate to pupils a range of exciting roles in the Health and Social Care sector that show them just how science subjects they are studying in school now are used in the real world, and contribute to careers education when thinking about their future the workshops will be delivered virtually, on Google Classrooms, with sign-in to the events made via the class teacher on behalf of a whole class or year group.

Pupils will each complete an accompanying worksheet, sent out to teachers prior to the event and will be able to direct questions to the panel during live Q&A using the interactive chat functions.
