Cisco: Boosting Brand Awareness Among Young People

Cisco: Increasing brand awareness and demystifying your organisation amongst young people

Cisco wanted to increase their brand awareness amongst Young People and demystify their employment offer – they felt that most Young People were unaware of Cisco and lacked an understanding of the breadth of opportunities available.

In partnership with Speakers for Schools, Cisco received over 200 applications for their work experience programmes in Reading and Feltham in October 2019 alone, from a diverse range of students.

Over 80 students were selected for placements and spent a week learning about roles they would never have otherwise heard of in one of the most successful technology companies in the world.

The year 2020 saw Cisco opening its doors to hundreds of students, leveraging the services of Speakers for Schools to disseminate information about the thrilling opportunities in the tech world. This initiative not only benefits the students but also ensures that Cisco continues to attract fresh, innovative minds, ready to take on the challenges of the future.

In a rapidly evolving technological landscape, it’s initiatives like these that ensure the next generation is equipped, informed, and ready to contribute to the world of tech.
