Global music technology platform Spotify wanted to give young people a taste of what a working day at their busy offices is really like. Through Speakers for Schools they organised a Careers Insight Day.

They brought together a group of 15 young people from the local area, who were interested in futures in tech but no had previous work experience, for a day of activities.

Spotify staff gave students the chance to get hands on with real client briefs, work together as a team to solve actual problems facing the company and the experience of presenting a pitch to senior members of staff.

They are now looking to offer work experience placements to students who attended the insight day, giving them a deeper experience of the brand’s culture and work.
