We are a law firm, Lewis Silkin LLP and we would like to introduce you to join us to learn more about the legal sector and whether a career in law may be something you would like to explore.

 

The session aims to cover: 

  • What it means to be a lawyer; 
  • Different areas of law;
  • A 'day in the life of' a solicitor;
  • Why might you be interested in a career in law; 
  • Skills required to be a lawyer; and 
  • Routes into law.


There will also be an opportunity for the students to ask questions of real solicitors - about them, their careers, or anything else you may want to ask to find out more about a career in law. All questions welcome! A couple of solicitors from our firm, at different levels (Trainee, Associate, Partner) will be delivering the session and happy to answer any questions that you may have. 

 

Lewis Silkin LLP is not a criminal law practice but focuses on a variety of other practice areas: Employment, Intellectual Property, Commercial Contracts, Advertising, Media, Corporate, Data, Dispute Resolution and Real Estate.
