Across three days, Flamingo Land, Edinburgh Zoo, the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland and a final organisation, still to be announced, will take you on a unique
virtual journey.
You will hear from industry experts about their roles and the range of job opportunities working with animals, have a
virtual tour of their sites, including getting up close with a polar bear and a giraffe as well as learning about behaviour studies and how zoos prepare for new species.
A full immersive experience!
What skills and knowledge does it take for you to have a career working with animals? The teams will explore pathways into working in these sectors, what
qualifications are required and tips on how you can best research and prepare for your future steps.
Lots of opportunities will be available for you to ask your questions and get involved in tasks to develop your understanding and learning.
To apply for this amazing experience you must be aged 14 - 19 years on the date of the virtual experience and be confirmed by your school to attend. Application
