This opportunity is for applicants from Essex only.
We’re searching for young people interested in the field of finance to come and join us on work experience at our care home support centre in Colchester.
During the work experience week, you will spend time with different teams, specifically finance teams including billing, accounts payable, reporting and commercial finance in order to gain an understanding of future career opportunities including:
· Learn about the finance department and different roles and teams
· Shadow professionals in their day to day work
· Improve your presentation and teamwork skills among others that you can use in your CV
· Attend and shadow meetings
· Gain reflective practice skills
· Visit a Care UK care home

Applicants may need to attend a screening call with an educator present, and will need to attend a virtual interview with educators present on 15 May 2024 with representatives of Care UK as part of the work experience.

Students will need to arrange their own transport to and from support centre Monday – Wednesday and Friday. On the Thursday, students will need to arrange own transport to and from Silversprings Care Home in Thorrington.
