Christopher Poad

Chris has spent his whole career in digital and online businesses. He currently leads 50,000 colleagues to deliver food to millions of customers a week. Tesco operates one of the world’s largest online grocery businesses and Chris’s role sits between long-term digital strategy and day to day management of a complex organisation. Prior to Tesco, Chris spent over a decade at Amazon.com. He spent 6 years in the UK, as a member of the country leadership team, and four years in the US leading teams in the US, Europe, and Asia building and running multi-billion scale businesses.

Chris can talk about careers in digital, the intersection of technology and business, and making high-judgment decisions. He lives with his wife and three daughters in Windsor.
