I have presented a nightly business show for Sky News since 2014. Prior to that, I was Business & City Editor of The Times, having previously been Business Editor of The Sun and, before then, a business journalist for the Mail on Sunday, The Guardian and the Telegraph. Altogether, I have been a business journalist on national newspapers and television for nearly 25 years. Before journalism, I spent three and a half years working in the City for Midland Bank.
Brought up in Bristol and in Devon, I have a degree in history from the University of Manchester and have a postgraduate diploma in newspaper journalism from City University.
