Pav is a banking and finance executive with extensive operational and leadership experience in capital markets, risk management, Board governance and CFO responsibilities.

He has worked in Capital Markets for over 30 years having lived and worked in New York, APAC, Zurich, Frankfurt and London including managing a Global team of 1,600 professionals as the Global head of Financial Accounting and Controlling at UBS.

He has a proven track record for solving complex problems, managing efficient process and large organisational teams, including delivering digital infrastructure transformation, operational risk, treasury and regulatory remediation across Investment Banking, Asset and Wealth Management Divisions to meet challenging strategic objectives.

Pav has a commercial and pragmatic outlook, optimising all available resources across the global locational footprint, whilst embracing the power of cross functional collaboration (Legal, HR, Operations, Risk and Technology) in addition to specialist employee skills which are key to success and very much sought after by employers across industries.

He is passionate about taking action to facilitate societal change and improve the outcomes for disadvantaged and underrepresented children through a combination of community volunteering, mentoring, school governor roles and also his Board of Director Trustee role at The Brilliant Club, a UK charity which leverages the PhD community to facilitate access for state school children to premier universities.

Pav has driven Diversity Equity and Inclusion initiatives for several years and is a founding UK Regional sponsor of MOSAIC focused on BAME and also co-head of Global Diversity and Inclusion for Finance at UBS.

A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales and a Physics graduate from Manchester University who progressed through local state school education himself, to become a role model for many others.
