Richard Morris

Richard is CEO, UK and EMEA at IPG Mediabrands, the media and marketing arm of Interpublic Group, one of the world’s biggest advertising and marketing services companies.

In his role, Richard is responsible for driving strategy for a number of media agencies in the Group including UM, Initiative and Mediahub who handle marketing budgets for some of the most well-known and exciting brands in the world.

In a consumer economy increasingly defined by digital media, data and continuous change it’s an extremely exciting environment to be part of. Not only in continuing to create a world-class collaborative offering for clients but also an inspirational and successful place to work for all IPG Mediabrands’ teams. Richard remains committed to driving a positive step-change in both diversity, equity, and inclusion and strongly believes that people from all backgrounds, regardless of gender identity, race, sexual orientation, disability, age, religion or belief should be able to bring their whole selves to work and feel supported, understood and celebrated.

Richard sits on the governing body of the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) and, as Dad to two teenage daughters, is fully in immersed in the importance of confidence and skill building as our young people prepare for the world of work.
