I went to university and then left to live in Japan for 2 years with a one way ticket. I have worked in roles spanning higher education, through scientific publishing into audible, a small start up that didn’t look like it was going places. I have been here 17 years – through an Amazon acquisition and grown the UK business from a small team of 10 to a broad based business at the intersection of culture and technology – and been able to activate my love of books. ( I did an English degree). We have 4 onsite studios and create fantastic content and have a commitment to helping a wide range of creators, students, audio production engineers, artists, prisoners tell their own story through our social impact work which I have spearheaded in the UK.
