Sir Peter Stothard
From 1992 to 2002 I was Editor of The Times but today am an editor and writer specialising in the ancient classical world. My books, On the Spartacus Road (2010) and Alexandria (2013) combine memoir, history and travel writing. In 2012 I was Chair of Judges for the Man Booker Prize for fiction.
