At the FRC, we regulate auditors, accountants and actuaries, and we set the UK’s Corporate Governance and Stewardship Codes. We promote transparency and integrity in business. Our work is aimed at investors and others who rely on company reports, audit and high-quality risk management.

The FRC is made up of five divisions and you will be given the opportunity to meet representatives from each of them and to find out more about roles within the various teams, and the skills etc. needed to work in this organization as well as the wider financial sector. You will hear from a range of professionals such as accountants and legal professionals and people working in Human Resources and other corporate support functions.

We have an action packed and interactive week planned for the successful students including working in teams on a project, learning about a senior manager’s career journey, advice on planning your own career and developing your communication and presentation skills.

If you are ambitious and driven, and are prepared to put in the effort, we want to hear from you. We are less concerned with formal qualifications, we just want to know that you will fully commit to the week and actively participate in the sessions.

If you are successful in your application, we will get back to you with more information about the activities we have planned.
