Calling all YEAR 10-13 students….

Are you interested in learning more about the UK’s biggest grocery retailer? Have you ever wondered how Tesco understands its customer’s needs, how we develop new brands and create adverts

We welcome all students to this virtual insight day – no prior experience is required to take part.

This session will be delivered over 1 day online and is interactive. You will be asked to participate throughout.

We will help you to understand the full range of the Customer team activities. This includes:

·      Analysing Customer data and trends,

·      Making sure our Products and Services meet our Customers needs

·      Communicating to our Customer about our great Products and Services

We will share with you some exciting career stories, why colleagues joined Tesco and how they have developed their careers. We will break off into smaller groups to work through a real-life business scenario and ask you to present back your findings as a group.

Workshop highlights include:

·      Understanding the Customer team

·      Learning about careers in Customer and Marketing

·      Taking part in an interactive challenge involving creative thinking and teamwork skills.

·      Planning and presenting solutions

Please note: 

  • Students who have not previously had work experience, do not have access to other opportunities (such as via parents) and qualify for FSM or Pupil Premium are especially encouraged to apply 
  • Students will need to be able to access the online classroom (details to follow) from 10:00am – 15:00pm. 
  • Be sure to read all the details as applications will be selected based on enthusiasm and open-mindedness for this specific opportunity, organisation, and industry.
